Ticket Sales      

Buy your tickets online! Online ticket sales will begin on Tuesday, January 22. Families without internet access may purchase tickets at the door before each show or the PAC box office during the school lunch hour on February 19, 20, & 21. M-A seniors may also contact Kelly Todd in B-21 or Karina Escobar-Weaver. Ticket prices (all shows are on Saturday, February 23, 2013):

Kickoff Show (1:00 p.m.):
Reserved Seating (includes luncheon/show): $85 individual; $650 table of 8 (Please note that luncheon tickets must be purchased through the "Reserved" seating option.)
Reserved Seating for show only: $35 (These seats will be available for sale after Reserved Seating luncheon/show tickets have sold out.)
General Admission: $25
Students (high school or younger): $10

Matinee (4:00 p.m.):
Reserved Seating: $35
General Admission: $25
Students: $10

Finale (7:30 p.m.):
Reserved Seating: $65
General Admission: $40
Students: $20

Wheelchair and companion seats are available for purchase by contacting the Ticket Sales team at fsticketsales@mabearspta.org. Pricing for special accommodations are the same as the General Admission prices for each show.

Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to sit with your friends, make sure to order Reserved Seating!

About the M-A PTA Fashion Show

Join us

M-A's annual PTA Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013, in the M-A Center for Performing Arts. This year's creative and dynamic co-chairs are Susan Benedick, Julie Brody, Renata Mullen, & Jill Smith, and they've come up with a theme that we can only iM–Agine will electrify you! While the Fashion Show showcases the Class of 2013 as models, we need parents from all grades to help make this event a success.

No matter what your style or fashion sense, whether you are new to M-A or a veteran parent, we need dozens of parents to be a part of this exciting event. Choose a job—big or small, fashion-oriented or logistical, join the committee or show up on February 23th—there's something for everyone! As a part of the show, you'll see a wonderfully amazing side of M-A that you've never seen before...

To volunteer to help, contact Gloria Principe and Julia Mass at fsvolunteers@mabearspta.org. And, by the way, if you can't be a part of the planning, be a part of the audience! The PTA Fashion Show is always a highlight of the school year, and due to high demand, three shows are offered:

  • 1:00 p.m. (with optional pre-show Luncheon at 11:45 a.m.)
  • 4:00 p.m. Matinee
  • 7:30 p.m. Evening Finale (will sell out)

Nona Ybarra photoCharleston Pierce: Model Coach & Choreographer

As a native of San Francisco, Charleston began his modeling career in the late 80's as one of Jimmie Grimme's models. His career highlights over the course of 25+ years in the entertainment and fashion industry include successful modeling and acting stints in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and around the United States. He has appeard in national billboards, movies, print ads, fashion shows, and over 30 commercials. In the last two years, he's also co-hosted Bay Area Vista TV Show.

In San Francisco, Charleston is known for his presence in the Macy's Passport fashion shows as a runway top model. In recognition of his expertise, Macy's Passport invited him from 2005–2009 to serve as the lead runway coach and model trainer.

From 2006–2012, he has been a runway coach and model trainer for thhe San Francisco Junior League organization. In 2007 he launched Charleston Pierce Presents, a series of fashion, music and entertainment events throughout the SF Bay Area with a focus on promoting local designers in San Francisco. In 2012, he published his first book titled, Star Walk: Embrace Your Inner Power and Find Success On The Runway Of Life. Charleston was the model coach and choreographer for the 2012 M-A PTA Fashion Show, and is thrilled to be back to work with the class of 2013!

Charleston's vision is to support upcoming talent, aspiring models, designers, singers, and others in the entertainment industry in the local San Francisco Bay Area. Nona Ybarra photoNona Ybarra: Dance Choreographer

Nona Ybarra is the owner of Captivating Dance studio. As a young adult, Nona performed in various musicals including 42nd Street, with American Musical Theatre, South Pacific, and Sweet Charity. She has been the coach for Menlo-Atherton High School's highly acclaimed dance team for the past ten years. The students adore her! "I'm thrilled to be choreographing the Fashion Show again this year and look forward to another amazing show."




Scott Kline photoScott R. Kline: Photographer

Environmental Portrait Photographer, Scott R. Kline, creates portraits that are warm in tone and color, engaging the viewer by being direct and honest. He illuminates the soul of those he portrays. His collaborative style engages and informs by photographing the subject where they work or play. National and regional publications find that his photographs tell a story that helps the viewer gain insight into their subject. Scott's photographs have appeared in numerous publications including Travel+Leisure, TravelAge Plus and CFO Magazine. He is a contributing photographer at InMenlo.com, where his editorial photographs portray many of the movers and shakers of Silicon Valley. Scott is a member of Editorial Photographers (EP) and American Photographic Artists (APA). He is a graduate of the Academy of Art University where he received an MFA in Photography. Erik Butler photoErik Butler: Photographer

Erik Butler has over 23 years of photographic experience as owner of a successful San Francisco–based commercial photography studio. Whether shooting large-format in-studio or environmental portraiture on location, Erik is know for his dynamic elegant lighting style and use of saturated color to produce dramatic imagery.
